Back To School: 05-31-2013
31 May 2013
Most of us teens express ourselves through our style or the way we dress up; but this becomes really difficult especially for us students who attend schools which enforces strict dress codes. Then the big question is, can we still stay stylish without breaking the rules? The answer is a resounding YES! During my first year of college, choosing the right clothes to school became one of the hardest things I have to deal with everyday ( second only to school homework). It even takes me an hour just to think of the clothes I would wear for the day!! However, as time goes by I learned to stick with my personal style while waltzing around the boring dress codes.
Here's what I wore to school on my first day; the classic denim on denim look. All things denim will never go out of style. What I love about denim is its versatility which can match with anything inside your closet. For this look, I wore my black denim jeans from Mango and matched it with this washed denim jacket from Two Percent Shop. One of my style secret is I never wear denims of the same shade, just make sure one is darker than the other.
Now onto my accent... the florals. Florals definitely bring out the bohemian in me. I like how it perfectly matches with my denim over-all! The tiny flower print in my top from Bershka coincide well with the big flower prints in the bag which I got from Bench. Just to prove prints-on-print is still in season!
You know what they say: "The real fashion is in your shoes." You can make a fashion statement to school by just wearing simple flats with funky prints or short boots! So make sure to invest on it if you really want to stay stylish (and sassy) when on campus!

Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2013: Michael Cinco
24 May 2013
Ahhh... to be honest, no words can describe how fantastic Michael Cinco's show was, it was almost mystical. As a fashion enthusiast I was taken into his world and never have I felt so humbled and awed. I never thought I would see the day I could experience meeting Michael Cinco and seeing his collections displayed within arms reach!! The title "The Impalpable Dream of Russia" speaks so much about his concept. Looking at his collection one can feel the Regalness his haute couture projects. Seeing it being paraded reminds me of clouds. The embroidery in itself has stunning details, and these details bring out the shape of the models. Such elements of design bring out the art in fashion. The dark side of the concept likewise contrasted the light. I am amazed at how he balanced the extreme sides and make it appear as One. I can only hope that I can one day come up to par and see what Michael Cinco sees... when that happens I can die happy! Thank you Michael Cinco for being you, I'm proud to be Pinoy! :)
The star of the night: the Impalpable world-class Designer. Woot woot!

Transform yourself with Schick
If you had the powers of MAN OF STEEL for one (1) week, how would you use it?
My answer: I would use my heat vision to close the hole in the ozone layer. I would use my presence to mediate between warring countries in the Middle East. I would police the world against terrorism using my speed and power to overwhelm them. And I would inspire the youth to pursue peace and unity for the preservation of earth and humanity... no different from Schick, which will free your skin!
Hey sassy readers! here's another way to win Man of Steel movie tickets (see poster below)

Candy Magazine's "It Girl on the Web"
16 May 2013
Here's my second feature in Candy Magazine! The moment I saw myself in Candy Mag's website, I wanted to jump for joy! But since I was in a formal restaurant- with 2 of my cousins, my dear Aunt Gang Badoy-Capati (founder of RockEd Phil.), and the Philippine Volcanoes (Rugby players)-I just kept it to myself and let my heart do the jumping. Lol! It was really a fulfilling feeling being recognized by the things you love doing. I'm just thankful for the people who have helped me become the person I am right now. To my family, friends and my frequent readers thank you so much! Though I'm not even half way to my goal, I am confident among the people around me. With the proper motivation and work I will be able to reach that goal and maybe someday even go beyond it!

Tumblr Fair Experience
11 May 2013
After 3 days of preparation, it all finally paid off! A big thank you to my bff Bea for helping me out. I don't know what I'll do without her! All in all, I had an amazing time at Tumblr Fair last Saturday along with my 2 other best friends. Not only did I enjoy the whole experience but I get to learn a lot of things from it as well. Anyway, I would like to thank the people behind Tumblr Fair 2 for giving me this opportunity and I'd like to congratulate them also for another successful event! Can't wait for December!

Our booth full of flowers and cute bows!
The highlight of my whole Tumblr Fair experience; seeing my favorite guy blogger. Even though I looked absolutely ridiculous in this picture, David Guison thought otherwise. *insert gazillion heart emoticons here* LOL!

La Boheme: 05-05-2013
5 May 2013
This picture was taken in Calaguas Island, and if you're not familiar with the place click here ;) I had to admit, this look is my favorite among the bunch. Simply because I was able to project my personal style, "bohemian or boho", effortlessly. I am wearing a south american inspired poncho, its earth colors greatly matches the surrounding landscape. My boots was bought from Melbourne, Australia and it is a perfect fit for this rugged terrain. To wrap up the whole boho look I matched it with this classic bangles from India. What do you think?
The scenery was taken along a trekking route to the island's interior.
Poncho: Stradivarius
Boots: Barkins (Australia)
Accessories: From India
Headpiece: H&M
