Hey everyone! How are you all been doing? Sorry, but I'm going to make this post a little quick than the usual. As you all know this is a late overdue post, I was supposed to publish this 3 days ago but apparently it obliterate from my mind due to massive college workload... (excuses, excuses). Well, I'm not here to rant about my college life over and over and over again, I'm pretty sure you all understand where I'm coming from.
Best Boy Band Ever (A Dedication To One Direction)

I've been supporting One Direction ever since they started living the dream. I've watched all their heartwarming performances, humorous video diaries on YouTube and even those videos made by their fans. From then and there, I fell in love...
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH YOUR FAVORITE BLOGGERS
9 September 2013
.... and yes, all caps is necessary in this case!
Last month, I had the chance to interview 5 Famous Filipino Bloggers via Facebook chat. I had to admit, I've always wanted to interview these people ever since I started blogging but I was too shy (I can be very timid sometimes you know. Sometimes lang!)
Anyway here's a recap of how everything happened, our dreaded research paper came in and our professor asked us to choose any topic we want so I thought of why not choose "blogging" as a topic. I mean it has always been a passion of mine (even if deep inside I only want the topic so I could have a "good" reason to interview my fave. bloggers. Lol!) Now you know what topic you should go for. HA! kidding aside... But other than that, I wanted to learn more about blogging, perhaps, its deeper meaning and how it actually works.
And so I asked David Guison, Aisa Ipac, Seph Cham, Mariel Wagas and Shai Lagarde these questions: What do you get from blogging? Aside from the usual perks like the freebies from online shops, access to different events, all expense paid trips etc. Do you think it improved your marketing skills, social relation and logical thinking?
Scroll down to see their answers ....
"Blogging really made me a better person. It made me dress better. Yes, I know it's a style blog. But honestly, if I didn't have a blog, I probably wouldn't care about my outfit. It improved my writing. I'm an an arts student so we don't really do writing in that course, but with blogging, I really try to read books (something I really hate haha) and I even considered enrolling to a creative writing class. It also made me more adventurous. Because of blogging, I'm always in the lookout for "blog-worthy" things to try. So that I can share it to my readers. It made me more confident. Something I don't have when I didn't have a blog. I can really say I improved a lot. I used to be very shy and awkward. I still am, but I can say that I improved a lot because of it. "
"(1) Blogging becomes a milestone for me to improve in: First is the way I dress, since fashion is something that grows and continuously changing as years pass by, I learned to adopt on these changes and to try new things. In this manner, I was able to offer new fashion ideas to my readers, which also made my blog unique from the others –since I blog different fashion styles and ideas.Second is in socializing, before I’m a kind of guy who has no courage to start a conversation especially with someone that I just met. But now, because of the continuous invites coming from different brands or companies, I started to learn to mingle with different people in the crowd.
(2) For what I believe, blogging is also part of marketing, since it is one of the ways where I market myself and my ideas in fashion and styling. And just like in a standard company or business, competition also involves in blogging that challenges me to do better and to market myself in my own way. And since doing something different is what I always wanted, I tend to think more strategies to reach my goals that practices me to think analytically, to improve my marketing skills (since these strategies are part of marketing) and also, to improve my social relationship (because to get more ideas, I usually ask some advice to my friends or even my readers)."
"Blogging doesn't really have all the perks especially when you're asking about the monetary compensation. I enjoy benefits like sponsored clothes, products they send for reviews, and all the things that online shops send me.I've learned marketing first prior to blogging and it has helped me harness my marketing skills because my blog is a proof that I could proudly show to my future clients. Social skills? Of course it has! Being an introvert like myself, I've learned overtime how to interact and greet readers/online friends whenever I see them during bazaars and events."
"What I get from blogging other than the commonly-known perks are that I get to express myself not only in terms of fashion and personal style, but more so in terms of individuality. It is always a challenge to try and stand out from the rest, because there are just too many bloggers these days. In that way, you learn to exercise your creativity and yes, your marketing skills. You also learn to be more sociable. In my case, I've always been a shy girl but blogging has helped me come out of my shell. I do hosting now, and I post videos on YouTube. It's interacting with readers and hearing how they support me that's encouraged me to be myself. So I guess the best thing blogging has given is that it has made me realize it's okay to be myself—and that I can use my blog and my being true to myself to inspire others"
"I think it made me confident and it made me believe in myself more. I also got more contacts and a wider network plus work opportunities. Most of all i get to meet amazing people that share the same passion as mine."
Note: I don't own any of the pictures, credits to the owners.
I hope you guys learned something from this interview because I did, for sure! Anyway, I'd like to thank David, Shai, Mariel, Aisa and Seph because despite your hectic schedules you still managed to have a little chat with me and answer my interview questions. You don't know how much you have helped me with my research paper and deepen my understanding of what blogging really is. I can't wait to see all soon! Hopefully on Bloggers United 6! ♥
iWhite Korea's Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream Review
8 September 2013
Hey everyone! how are you all been doing? Well, today I'm going to do a product review!! This is my first time writing any kind of review for a product, so apologies if I may sound a bit amateur (for you). Here it goes...
Ever since I can remember, my mom has drilled into me how important it is to take care of your skin. I remember when I was in grade school my mom would scold me for being too lazy to put lotion on my skin she would even warn me that I'd get dry skin if I don't listen to her. Which is true, by the way. Then, once I got into teen years, it was all about sunscreens and moisturizers. My mom would wake me up in the middle of the night to hand me a moisturizer which I find irritating since moisturizers are really greasy and then she would also remind me to put on a lotion or moisturizer with SPF first, before going out somewhere. *sigh* But you know what? My mom was right. Despite all her nagging, I'm very thankful that I have her to guide me all the way. I still wish I heeded her advice earlier though, maybe I'd get a better skin if I did. Out of all my mom's countless advice when it comes to maintaining my skin one thing I will never forget her saying is, "Never be afraid to experiment."
To be honest, I have already tried several Facial Creams, some feels uncomfortable in the skin others well, they gave me breakouts but I'm proud to say that I have found the best one yet. And that is iWhite Korea's Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream.
Note: I wrote this review one month after I start using the Vita Facial Cream. The results are real and no pun intended.
The company sent 2 products for me to review on. One is the Vita Facial Cream and the other one is the Aqua Moisturizing Cream. However, I'll do the Vita Facial Cream first since I'm still trying out the Aqua Moisturizing Cream. Like what I have just said I do reviews 1 month after using them :)
What I love about iWhite Korea's Vita Facial Cream is it gives an "instant" whitening effect. Surprisingly, the first time I dabbed it into my face I already saw the difference! Some Whitening Facial Creams will take about 2-4 weeks before seeing the results. But that's not all! This Vita Facial Cream also protects skin from the raging sun, perfect for people living in a tropical country like I do. And for all the beauty enthusiasts out there, you won't believe it but this Vita Facial Cream can also serve as your make up base. Pretty cool, right? Its like a moisturizer, foundation and sunscreen rolled into one tube!
I was generous enough to give my friends these Vita Facial Cream sachets for them to try on. Also because I want to find out if the results are consistent or not. Fortunately, it was! They loooove the powder finish and the whitening effect it gives to their skin.
For people with sensitive skin, I suggest try dabbing it on your hands first before trying it on your face. Just to make sure.
Here's a before and after shot to further prove my assumption on iWhite Korea's Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream. See the difference?
Pro's:
✓ Instantly Whitens Skin
✓ Powder Finish
✓ Affordable
✓ Pleasant Smell
✓Gives a Natural Looking Flawless Face
Con's:
✗It Doesn't Last Long, Meaning It Makes Skin Oily Hours After Applying

Where to buy? Watsons and Mercury Drug Nationwide
OVERALL RATING: ★★ ★★★
FORMULA: ★★★★★

I'll end this post by a quote "Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old." Thank you so much, Franz and the whole iWhite Korea team for sending these amazing products over! :)

Have you ever had that strange feeling where you just feel unfulfilled in life? And you realize that the life of just playing and being a kid is gone and you have to start working your a*s off? The reason why I asked you these is because I think I'm going through a weird transitional phase in my life and it's making me a bit depressed. Whenever I open up this topic to some people, they'll be like, "You're just 19 years old and you still have time to achieve more in your life." But THAT'S THE POINT. As a 19 year old and soon to be 20, I see other people my age doing things in life, having careers, actually living their fulfilled lives and I wish I could be like that. I feel like I've been standing still for some time now while everyone's been passing me by. Well I don't know how I came up with this thought in the first place but that hardly even mattered. I just don't want the feeling of being left behind.
But you know what I realized? Life is a big game of catch up. There will be some bumps on the road that keeps us falling down and getting bruises. But somehow, we all have manage to get back up and keep running to get ahead of the pack. (Credits to Pink Floyd for the inspiration)
On the brighter side of things, for my outfit of the day I'm wearing something fun and girly. Just something completely different with what I have just shared with you.
Denim Jackets will never disappoint (as seen in the picture). I paired it up with the floral dress which I found really cute and unique. But if you're not the type of person who wear dresses, I think you could try wearing it with khaki pants or white skinny jeans, with any color shirt of your choice underneath but make sure not to pair it with anything of the same shade. Number 1 rule!
Strawberry shortcake inspired look! What do you think of the necklace from DFab Shop? :)
Just sharing the things that keeps me fresh everyday. Are you curious of iWhite Korea's Facial Cream? I'll post a review on Friday. Watch out for that ;)

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I updated this blog, I have been kind of busy this past few weeks that I had to do away with blogging for a while... college hits. Well let's just hope that I'll be back for good, I won't make any promises but I'll do my best. Count me on that!
Before I start with this post, let me just say that I absolutely missed each and everyone of you. Most especially your comments and feedback that gives tug in my heartstrings! I've been receiving tons of flattering messages and fashion related questions on my social media accounts lately and I'd like to personally thank everyone for believing and supporting me all the way :) In fact, I won't be doing all these things without your love and support... cheesy/cliche' but nonetheless true. Flying kiss for you!
For my comeback post, I decided to channel out another of my classic bohemian looks by wearing neutral colored pieces.
Oh look... A new addition to my bag collection! I love everything about this bag despite its itty-bitty size. Actually before this shoot I've already used the bag in school and my friends just loved it. A massive thanks to DFab Shop for sending this over! Do check them out on Facebook, guys ;)
Last but not the least, I'd like to thank one of my closest blogger friend Jamsy Perez for this gorgeous Maxi Pants. You surely know my taste! Love you, Jam.
