The other day, my family and I went on a spontaneous trip to Lobo, Batangas. We were supposed to go to Baguio but since the traffic was unbearable we decided to ditch the North and head to the South instead. After all, why go with the mainstream when we can partake in a new adventure?

It may not be one of the most impressive beaches in the Philippines but it does have the best sunset view - fiery orange, searing reds, hot as the sun yellow with a hint of indigo of the night. Two words? PURE HEAVEN. We arrived in our first stop at around 5 in the afternoon just in time to witness this breathtaking scenery. 

The next day, we took a 30-minute drive to Malabrigo Point Lighthouse

 If the sun weren't directly hitting us we could have stayed there for a while!

It feels incredible to be out of the country, putting all the college stress away for a while. Hong Kong is my dream destination, I have always been so fascinated by this country and when I had the chance to go there I made sure to enjoy every bit of it. I didn't like the fact that I only had 4 days to roam around the city but there is nothing I could do so I just maximized my stay. Following an itinerary is not my thing, as much as possible when I go to other places it's spontaneous. I'm not really fond of following strict schedules or going to travel agencies and look up for tour guides. I would rather get lost, talk to strangers and just be anonymous in a city I have never been before because those type of memories never fade easily.

For my simple #ootd, I wore an Aztec dress I bought in Mongkok for 40 HK dollars and added a DIY cover-up to give a bohemian touch to my outfit. I don't want to go over-the-top with this look so I decided to stick with the neutrals. The sunnies I'm wearing here is originally my Mom's (as usual) but since it looked good on me, it is already mine. Sorry, Mom :p

Charm Bracelets are one of my favorite things in the world. All my charms mean something, rather it be something about me, or somewhere I went. I got my first charm bracelet when I was in grade school and I remember my Mom had given it to me few days before my 4th baby brother was born to remind me that despite a new baby in the house, she'll still love me and care for me just the same. Since then I grew very fond of collecting charm bracelets until I decided to make my own.

They said that the 20s are for having fun and making up for the lost freedom during your teen years but I thought otherwise. Sure, real life starts in the 30s or in the 40s but the truth is... real life begins NOW. This is the age where you get to learn to live independently, make your own decisions and be more responsible. For short, it should be taken seriously. To be honest, I'm not ready for any of those things yet, heck, my mental age is still of a 13 year old fangirl. But what I've learned about life so far is it goes by so quick. Far too quick to sit down and ask a question like "how to get a life?". Fortunately, with the help of my family, friends and even acquaintances I finally realized that I'm already living it. If you think your life is going nowhere - THINK AGAIN. Sitting around and being a bum won't bring you anywhere (duh), remind yourself to go out and do something productive. Having a traditional "Dear Diary" journal, a planner or even a bucket list helps too! Never make a habit of waiting for anything to happen because in reality, it won't unless you work your a** off. Take every opportunity that comes your way and give it your best shot :)

Like what Tyler Oakley said: "If you don't know who Harry Styles is, I have nothing to say to you." Kidding aside, I'm assuming you guys probably know who Harry Styles is and what he does. Well if you don't, I wouldn't mind giving you a brief description of who he is.

Harry Edward Styles or also known as "Hazza" is a member of the British-Irish boy band One Direction along with Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. He is the youngest in the band and also known as the member who had a knack of anything & everything crazy. He has dated several celebrities in the past and one of them is Taylor Swift. He may not take things seriously sometimes but when it comes to dressing up it is the other way around.

I had no problem with looking for ripped black jeans because I already had mine which got ripped few days ago by accident.  You wouldn't want to know the details. Anyway, thank goodness for that, I guess. For the black shirt, I had to choose from 3 different designs until I finally settled down with this one which I found in my Mom's closet. Oh the treasures I find there.

Now the story of my boots! Gosh, I don't know where to start. Basically, I found this boots from our bodega years ago but I have always despised it for some silly reasons. My Mom was the one who told me to try it on but I was reluctant because it think it was baduy. You know us teenagers, we don't like to wear things that aren't in the racks of Forever 21 or things that are unusual. We always follow the hype and if we fail to do that, we feel like we're out of place. But now I realize that's not how it's supposed to be.

Anyway, when I found the boots the other day an idea pop into my head and I immediately got it not really having second thoughts. I was so happy because I always wanted to have a pair just like Harry's and I guess God heard my prayers. It's not the exact replica of his boots but it will do, right?

The hardest to duplicate was the bandana which Harry wears during their concert or when he's out on a lazy day. I never had one but I already decided on what to put over my head until I found my Mom's scarf wrapped around her bag. I tried it on and it worked! The fun part is, it looks almost the same as Harry's. Things just couldn't get any better. After the bandana, I made sure to wear my favorite Ray Ban sunnies for extra effect. You know, camera flashes can get irritating in the eyes sometimes (HAHAHA, feeling Harry Styles lang).

So... this is my take on Harry Styles' look! I honestly, wasn't expecting it would turn out this good. I was quite surprised. Well, I'm really hoping you guys like it just as much as I did :)

Indeed, it was the best day for me! Aw. It seems like it was only yesterday that I was announced the winner of Keds' contest where I got the "Meet and Greet" passes plus tickets to Taylor Swift's concert. Now I'm in front of my computer doing a blog post about the whole surreal experience. Anyway, before I start with this post I'd like to warn everyone that most of the photos are not in its best quality since it was only taken using a 14mp digital camera - I really don't want to take the risk of bringing a DSLR camera at big events like this one. Also, this post is going to be lengthier than the usual, I'll be narrating everything even the smallest details. I hope.

I definitely loved the weather, it was windy but not too much, and for the first time in months the heat was bearable. There were media outfits everywhere, Swifties in their most creative costumes and fans singing Taylor Swift's songs. The positive vibe is contagious and I can really tell that I'm going to have an amazing night! 

 Ever since Keds announced us as the winner of the contest, we've been contemplating on what to wear. I had to admit, that thinking of an outfit is quite a daunting task. It's supposed to be the last thing we should be worried about, yeah, but then this one is unlike the usual concerts, it's the RED TOUR and we'll be meeting her in person! I guess a part of me wants to look presentable in front of Taylor but at the same time a part of me just want to hug her and not really care how I appear.

Here's the scrapbook we failed to give Taylor since we weren't allowed to. It was quite disappointing because we really worked hard on it but I understand. We'll have it snail mailed to her then :) 

When we got out of the Meet and Greet area, Nicole and I ran to the restroom and shot a video. Luckily, there were no people inside so we went crazy, letting out all the emotions we've been keeping inside. It was a good timing because after the Meet and Greet we spotted fireworks outside the Arena!

Well, Nicole and I joined the Spinnr Instagram video contest way before the Keds contest. If you're one of my Instagram followers you'll understand. We also made a music video and all the creative things you could think of to get noticed, but when we realized that Spinnr was taking too long to announce the winners we gave up and that's when we joined the Keds contest. It was an unexpected win, I literally blinked 10 times to check if it was real. I was elated to say the least because not only did I win 2 tickets but I got another 2! Wew. God is good. Thank you so much Spinnr, thank you so much God!
